Message from Mr. Claborn
Welcome to my website. I am in my 17th year of teaching at Chief Joseph Elementary School. I have taught second, third, and fourth grades. Currently I am starting my 14th year teaching second grade, my favorite! I am also the Site Technology Coordinator for our school.
We have homework each week in reading, math, and spelling. Each week we read a new poem together for Shared Reading, and we also use Weekly Reader. Our character education schoolwide is Lifeskills.
I am proud to be part of a school that has a competent, dedicated staff and principal. Our students work hard and enjoy being at school.
Chief Joseph is the Jewel of the North!
