The Pre-Kindergarten Program at Chief Joseph consists of two 1/2 day sessions. The A. M. Session is from 8:45 to 11:30 and the P.M. Session is from 12:15 to 3:00. Each session accomodates 21 students. Students have free choice time in the classroom for 30 - 45 minutes, Rug time (calendar, math and literacy instruction time) snack time, recess and finish the day with one of the4 Thematic Unit Projects. Our specials are 30 min. of Music and 30 min. of P.E., plus this year we visit the library for a story read by our new librarian, Janice Hopkins.
