I'd like to share a little information about myself in a question and answer format.
Q. What year did you start teaching?
A.I began teaching in Roseburg, OR in 1975. During my tenure as a teacher I took off five years to be at home with my two children.
Q Have you always taught kindergarten?
No, I have taught K-3, but kindergarten is my favorite having taught it for 24 years.
Q What year did you start teaching at Capitol Hill?
A. 2005
Q. What do you like most about teaching?
A. The children of course. I love their spontaneity and their excitement in learning.
Q. What do you enjoy doing outside of the classroom?
A. I love spending time with family especially my three grandsons! I enjoy reading, working out, walking my little rescue dog Bella and traveling!
