Volunteers play a vital role in the success of a school and the achievement of its students. Any amount of time that you can give is extremely helpful and appreciated!
Here are a few ideas on how you can volunteer:
In the classroom - assist individual students or small groups with reading, math, or science activities. Help students with classroom projects.
At home - Plan events, design flyers, sort handouts, prep teacher materials.
In the library - Shelve and repair books, assist students in selecting books to check out.
Classroom parent - Work with teacher to plan classroom activities and special events.
School wide events - Supervise the playground, chaperone field trips, prep special event materials, beautify bulletin boards.
Translating - Translate written materials into foreign languages.
Other skills needed - Do you have a skill you'd like to offer? Let us know!
