Hello- My name is Andrea Snowadski (most people call me Andee) and I teach 6th grade Core at Beaumont Middle School. This is my 15th year teaching middle school but my first year at Beaumont after teaching 14 years at Cesar Chavez, K-8. I am excited for this opportunity to work with this community and looking forward to getting to know the staff, students and families. I love teaching and think middle school is the best age to work with- it's certainly never boring!!
I was born in Corpus Christi, Texas but grew up in Portland. I went to Central Catholic High School and Portland State University. I live in Gresham with my husband, Jim, and our 14 year old daughter, Rian. We also have a crazy, spastic Boarder Collie named Norma, and two cats, Bubba and Fat (trust me, the name fits!).
I love reading, watching my daughter play volleyball and softball and hiking. Rian is a softball pitcher and I have spent so many hours sitting on a bucket catching for her that my shins now have permanent bruises.
I think that I am lucky to have a job that I love so much and enjoy exploring new ways to make learning fun and exciting. I am honored to be a part of this community and looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Please email me if you have any questions and I will get back to you as soon as possible!
