Beach School has a Dual Immersion Program (Spanish/English), as well as a Community/ Neighborhood Program. Over the next few months, we will have meetings at school highlighting information about both programs. These are called Focus Option/ Kindergarten Round-up meetings.

At these meetings you will be able to:

• Visualize what a day in the life of a kindergartener at Beach School is like.
• Learn about the many programs, community partnerships and parent volunteer opportunities.
• Hear from the dual and community kindergarten teachers, principal, assistant principal, counselor, student management specialist, support staff and parents.
• Receive help in completing registration forms (and transfer applications during the first two meetings).

Anyone interested in having their child attend Beach in the Dual Immersion program must attend one of these information meetings. These also serve as Kindergarten Round-up meetings for any families with kindergarten age students who would like to be a part of the Community Program at Beach. 

We provide childcare and translation at each of these events. Any families with school age children who are interested in attending Beach should attend at least one of these meetings:

• February 16th at 6:00pm (presentation given in English, Spanish translation provided)
• February 29th at 6:00pm (presentation in Spanish, English translation provided)
• March 13th at 3:30pm* (presentation given in English, Spanish translation provided) *Please note this meeting is after the transfer cycle closes

There will also be school tours every Friday morning in February at 10:00.
