The focus of the outreach program is to develop an inquiry-based science curriculum with Reed biology faculty and place Reed students into local Title I schools.
More specifically, the objectives of the program are:
- To develop and present inquiry-based science units in school classrooms.
- To have Reed College students serve as positive role-models.
- To supply classrooms and teachers with up-to-date science curriculum and equipment.
Currently we have 3 wonderful Reed students that join our 6th graders once a week.
