Before becoming the librarian at Astor I worked as a Kindergarten teacher. During those years I "rediscovered" the library. I have always loved to read and as a child spent many hours at my neighborhood public library. I decided the school library was where I wanted to be. I took the necessary courses (and tests!) to add Media Specialist to my teaching credentials. This is my third year at Astor and I love being a librarian.
