Arleta Boosters is the family group for Arleta school. All families are encouraged to participate!
Our focus this year is on building a community within Arleta. Every family has special strengths and values. Those strengths and values are important to Arleta School.
Some may ask what the Boosters do. Here are a few things we involve ourselves with:
1) Learn the strengths of our school community so we can support the teachers and staff at Arleta
2) Work towards having a sustainable school through the Green Team (recycling milk cartons, container lids and more)
3) Volunteer at school activities such as the Halloween Dance or Grandparents day
4) Organize special family events such as the Icecream Social or End of Year Picnic
5) Help raise funds for field trips, school activities, and school improvements that enrich our children's lives.
Booster meetings are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays in September (13th and 27th) and October (11th and 25th) from 8:00 am - 9:10 am. All families are welcome and encouraged to attend. This time doesn't work for everyone, never fear, contact Kate Thomas at KandGThomas@msn.com to notify her of your interest. You can still be involved!
