Benson, Lincoln and Madison approved to proceed with master planning

November 25, 2014
The Portland School Board Nov. 25 approved Benson, Lincoln and Madison high schools for the next bond. The Portland School Board voted 6-0 Nov. 25 to complete master planning for the modernization of Benson, Lincoln and Madison high schools in the next two years and to place those schools on a bond that will go to voters in 2016 to finance those modernizations.

Superintendent recommends enrollment and transfer system changes

PPS SACET Committee Superintendent Carole Smith forwarded to the Portland School Board on Monday, Nov. 24, a plan for aligning the PPS enrollment and transfer system across all grades and school configurations with the PPS Racial Educational Equity Policy.
