Here is the update on where we are with the ACCESS Auction, including links to sign up to volunteer, vote for your favorite theme, and bring food. It takes the entire ACCESS Community to pull off the auction. Unlike other auctions, the ACCESS Auction is a foundation sponsored event (not PTA). This means all $$$ raised goes directly to staffing (FTE).
Our biggest needs at this point are in the following:
1. Procurement: for many businesses, fall is the time for donations (end of tax year season). We need all the help we can get. If you have a business you frequent and they know you by name, that's a great place to start! Perhaps you are crafty or you work somewhere cool where students could do a job experience? All great ideas are welcome. Donation forms are in the office at ACCESS as well as on the ACCESS Academy Parents Facebook page and the ACCESS Auction Facebook page. Online donations through the auction software will be available in the coming weeks.

Hard copies of the donation forms are also available in the office in the Foundation mailbox at ACCESS as well as under the ACCESS PPS Webpage under foundation.
No donation is too small or too big. We want them all! Know someone with a vacation home? work at a cool place that students (or adults) would like to visit or see "backstage"? We will items at the auction ranging from $1.00 on up, so we hope everyone joins us in the fun. (Reduced price tickets for families that need them will be available through Trish in the office when tickets go on sale in February).

We have traditionally had over 90% of our families in attendance at the auction each year and raised over $70,000.
Also, don't forget to check: Does Your Company Provide Matching Donations? When checking with your employer, look for All Hands Raised. Since the ACCESS Academy Foundation is under the umbrella of the All Hands Raised 501 (c) 3, it is not listed as ACCESS Academy. Your matching gift would go to All Hands Raised and then be assigned to the ACCESS Academy account once it is received.
It takes a village to pull off a successful auction and we need all the help we can get.
