FIRST GRADE SUPPLY LIST

        1 pkg. Baby Wipes***

        1 pkg. Clorox wipes***

        1 wide-ruled metal spiral notebook (8.5 x 11)

        1 pkg. Colored pencils

        2 pkg. plain yellow #2 Ticonderoga* pencils ***

        1 box of crayons (any size)

        1 pencil box (big enough to hold pencils/crayons)

        1 8oz. White glue (Elmer type)

        1 pkg. Copy paper (8.5 x 11) white ***

        1 backpack (please put name inside)

        1 box of colored markers

        1 pair of “Fiskar’s” scissors (they really work the best)

        1 box band aids – plain regular size, not assorted

        $5.00 to help cover the cost of work folders & Sharpie Markers

***These items are for the class.  They are collected and distributed as needed.  All other items should have student’s name on them especially their coats.

OPTIONAL:

        Pencil sharpener (hand held)

        Colored gel pens

        Outside toy to donate to class for recess (ex: jump rope, ball, chalk, etc…)

WE RECOMMEND:

No 3-ring binders

No large grip pencils

* Ticonderoga pencils are the best.  Low price pencils are difficult to sharpen

**Be sure you label all coats and clothing that your child will be wearing.  It will make it easier to return them when lost.  We donated hundreds of items left in our lost & found last year to charity.
