2011 – 2012

Supplies for binder, desk, or locker

        Sturdy, compact pencil pouch to fit in finder

        24 count of #2 Dixon Ticonderoga* pencils (Sharpened please)

        Scissors (pointed and sharp) that will fit in pencil pouch

        Colored pencils (pkg. of 12)

        2 large pink pearl erasers

        Water bottle

        Backpack

        Reading book (preferably a chapter book)

        Calculator

        Wooden ruler with inches and centimeters

        1 ½ inch binder with plastic slip cover and inside pockets – NO TRAPPER KEEPERS

* Ticonderoga pencils are the best.  Low price pencils are difficult to sharpen

       Colored photograph of yourself doing something you will never forget.  (In our first writing assignment we will create a “Mental Videotape” of a special moment, using the photo to develop specific details)

Supplies to be collected and shared

         1 empty and clean ½ gallon, cardboard milk container – for Social Studies

        1 empty and clean 12 – 18 count egg container – for Math

        5 or 6 glue sticks (white or colored)

        1 pkg. copy paper

        3 highlighters (different colors)

        1 box of family tissue

        Sturdy small pencil sharpener

        2 Sharpie markers (1 black, 1 any color)

        1 pkg. Index cards

        Brass Fasteners

        Band aids

        $10 (for composition books and other shared supplies)

Supplies to be used in 4^th and 5^th grade

        Flash Drive (at least 1 gigabyte) – write name in sharpie on the outside

        Headphones – in an airtight (i.e. – Ziploc) bag with name on it - (the dollar tree sells headphones)

**Be sure you label all coats and clothing that your child will be wearing.  It will make it easier to return them when lost.  We donated hundreds of items left in our lost & found last year to charity.
