The Ready, Set, Connect School Readiness and Choice Festival features more than 100 events in schools and around the community over the next three months. Check out the schedules through the links below.
School Visits. Between January and March, PPS schools are opening their doors to new and current families. The best way to learn about a school is to see it yourself. Find time to visit your neighborhood school and any other schools you are thinking about.
• Kindergarten Round-Up. On-campus information events that let you and your preschool age child learn

• Kindergarten Readiness Events. "Test drive" a kindergarten class, learn how to get ready for kindergarten,
and talk to teachers and district personnel. Fairs are scheduled across Portland.Downloadable PDFs
• Sixth-Grade Information Nights. The transition from elementary to middle grades is important, whether
students are moving from K-5 schools to middle school or staying in their K-8 schools.

innovative programs with specific educational philosophies and/or delivery models that offer additional
