Manufacturing LogoThe Manufacturing Technology course prepares students for entry level positions in welding and steel fabrication industries. Training includes tool and equipment safety, blueprint reading, layout, template development, and completion of fabrication projects. Technical instruction incudes: oxyacetylene welding; brazing, soldering, stick, MIG, TIG, and flux core welding; metal lathe operation
and set up; milling machine operations; and basic sheet metal instruction. The program's robotics team also participates in the FIRST Robotics competition each year.
