Laurelhurst Student Art
The girls and boys in Mrs. Heinrich's second grade were
Dressed for Snow and Ready To Go! In December 2000 each student
made a model of themselves dressed in winter attire and
hoped that it would bring snow. Unfortunately, we only saw a few
flakes but we were toasty warm for the rest of the winter.

life of Martin Luther King Jr. We celebrated with writing poems,
taking pictures, and mixing paint to match all our beautiful colors.

In celebration of African American History Month, students at
Laurelhurst answered factual questions to expand their knowledge
of history. Students who answered questions correctly were recognized
