Conflict Managers - Don't Hate, Mediate!
Conflict Managers are students trained in mediation which is a process where you sit down with the student or students that are having a conflict and talk it out.

Why Mediate?
We want to be a school where students feel safe and respected and have the opportunity to resolve conflicts responsibly with their peers so it doesn't get out of hand and teachers and adults don't have to get involved. By resolving our conflicts peacefully and responsibly we can focus better on our education and grow in maturity as members of our society.

How you (a student with a conflict) access C.M's:
Outside Ms. Johnson's office
(Room 164B) are forms "Conflict Manager Request forms" Fill one out, then slip it under Ms. Johnson's door and she will assign Conflict Managers to resolve your conflict.

Working with Conflict Managers is a choice, it is voluntary, it is not a court so students are not there to judge guilt or innocence. They are simply there to help you talk it out responsibly and peacefully. Everything you talk about in mediation is confidential, so what is said in mediation stays in mediation.
