Our Motto: Practice
Makes Better!
Welcome to Class 123 + Mr. Watson

We are fourth-grade citizens at Clinton Kelly Elementary
School.
We
will be involved with the Errol Heights Wetlands Project this school
year. Located in the Johnson Creek Watershed, "EH" will provide
students, families, and interested community volunteers an
opportunity to make a positive difference through invasive weed
removal, replanting vegetation to reduce soil erosion, improve
wildlife habitat, and help bring back cut-throat trout to Johnson
Creek.

1. Errol Heights Wetlands Project Field Trip.
On Friday am, October 19, our class will participate in our
first in a series of invasive weed pull-outs to prepare our site for
Winter planting of native plants to reduce soil erosion and improve
wildlife habitat at"EH". Volunteers welcome!
2. Our school mascot is the cougar. Sadly, our cougar has no name.
Class 123 students are organizing a school wide project leading
to the selection of the offficial name for our mascot. Student teams
will visit all classrooms, make brief presentations about the
upcoming contest, and provide each classroom with voting materials to
make their class entry selection. Classroom teams will make
persuasive presentations to promote their class choice during lunch
prior to the election. There will be an all school vote on Election
Day, November 6, 2001. A K-5 student team will collect the votes and
tally the results. The winning name of our mascot will be announced
during lunch on Thursday, November 8, 2001.
