Abernethy School Carnival!

Friday, May 11, 2007 from 5:30 - 8pm

The school carnival is a fun and much-anticipated annual event. The Carnival is organized by Abernethy parent volunteers, and the actual event is staffed by members of the entire Community -- teachers, administrators, staff, parents and neighbors.

The Carnival has great activities, games and prizes. Games include the Art Spin, Basketball Throw, Bean Bag Toss, Fishing Booth, Dice Roll, Bottle Toss, and many more. There are inflatable jumping units, a Cake Walk, a balloon-shaping clown, food for the whole family and great prizes for all.

While the Carnival is not budgeted as a "fund-raiser", it often raises more money that it spends. Each year, the Carnival donates its profits to a worthy school-related activity. Generous contributions from the Carnival have been made to the PE Department, the Music Program, audio visual equipment, and the Art Program.

The Carnival is a great family activity. The entire neighborhood is welcome!
