Heading to High School

Getting to know your high school helps insure a successful transition. PPS has two focus high schools with specialized programs and seven neighborhood high schools. All nine schools offer sports and activities.

NEIGHBORHOOD HIGH SCHOOLS

All neighborhood high schools offer an eight-course schedule with a full core academic program, support and advanced classes and a range of electives.
Students interested in a focus school or another neighborhood school must apply in the school choice lottery. Students may only apply to other neighborhood schools that have transfer slots. Slots are announced in the winter on the School Choice webpage.
