Jefferson places second in football championship

The Jefferson Democrats played a hard fought game on Saturday, Dec. 5, falling to Hillsboro 20-6 in the 5A state football championship.
Saturday’s game was the first championship game the Democrats played in since 1959. The Demos made the finals by beating Sherwood High School 26-23 on Dec. 5.
