    Portland Public Schools is interested in learning about your child’s experience in before and after school care. Please complete this survey by Friday, December 12th, 2014. Results are shared with the provider and school principal and are used as part of an annual program evaluation.
  • Register your child for school Visit the PPS Enrollment and Transfer Center, 501 N. Dixon St.
  • Meal assistance: The Sunshine Division provides free food and clothing assistance to Portland families in need at 687 N Thompson St., 97227. Families typically receive three food store visits and two clothing store visits a year.
    Hours of Operation:
    9:30 am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 3:30pm (Monday through Friday)
    9:00am to 1:00pm (Saturdays)

  • Creston Dental Clinic : Free dental care for qualified families in PPS schools, 4701 SE Bush St. in Creston School. crestondirector@gmail.com or 503-916-5808. Closed over summer due to construction. Reopening in the fall 2014.
  • Clothing closets during the school year:
    • The PTA Clothing Closet: at Marshall High School, 3905 S.E. 91st Ave., Room C-56. Mondays and Thursdays. Families may select free clothing from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
    • The Roosevelt/SouthLake Church Clothing Closet: Corner of North Smith and Ida streets. Second Tuesday of each month, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Clothing for infants through adults.
