Each year the Multicultural/Multiethnic Education Office in conjunction with the ESL/Bilingual Program hosts student conferences for the ethnic groups represented in the District. Past student conferences were a great success, thanks to everyone who organized and participated.
Each year, the locations for the conferences are as follows:
- Hispanic Student Leadership Conference, University of Portland.
- The 2001 Youth Summit Connection at Self Enhancement Institute (SEI), 3920 N Kerby, Hosted by Portland Bureau of Parks & Recreation.
- Asian Student Leadership Conference, Lewis & Clark College.
- Russian Speaking Student Leadership Conference, Mt. Hood Community College.
- African-American Student Leadership Conference, Portland Public Schools. (Click PDF or TEXT for 2004)
