Welcome to the PPS Safety Program Home Page! We hope that this site will serve as a useful resource for all district employees. In addition to the documents contained in the PPS Safety Manual and on the CD, you will find links to safety-related Web sites, a Frequently-Asked Questions page and a “Safety Forum ” page with e-mailed questions and answers from the Health & Safety Department and other safety professionals.

We want this part of the district health and safety toolbox to be a place where you can come to communicate with fellow employees about common interests and concerns where you can find a solution, ask questions and offer suggestions. This will strengthen the safety program and make schools safer for district employees.

Please send in your questions, comments and suggestions to enviro@pps.k12.or.us — we will respond to each e-mail and, with your permission, post it along with our response. We intend to provide a site where employees can interact with colleagues and obtain information about safety issues - a tool to increase accountability.
