Solar Waffle Works is a food cart that specializes in a variety of flavor combinations. The power to operate the cart is partially generated by the solar panels located on the roof of the trailer. The cart allows students training in the areas of food preparation, sanitation, safety, cash register skills, inventory and record keeping and how to interact with customers. This socially responsible, start-up business offers an intensive training opportunity for self-managers. (See their website:  www.solarwaffle.org)
