Surplus Sale Information Page
Welcome to the Portland Public Schools Surplus Sale Information web page. Below you'll find information regarding upcoming Surplus Sales hosted by Portland Public Schools. These sales are conducted by Procurement Services to help liquidate items that have been deemed "surplus" by various departments and administration. Surplus Sales Process
The process of selling Surplus items is done through a sealed bidding process. This process is in compliance with ORS 279 Purchasing Law for Public Agencies and allows for a fair and open sale for interested parties. Bidders will have an opportunity to view items during the sale and place their bids in a sealed public bid box. Once the sale is over, all bids will be read aloud in a designated public location. Bids will the be tabulated and results will be provided via our "bid results" document posted on this website by the specified deadline. Some other general Surplus Sales Information is listed below:
- All Surplus Sales will be held at the Blanchard Education Service Center: 550 N Wheeler Place, Portland, OR 97227.

Before each sale, Procurement Services will provide sample pictures of what you could expect during the next upcoming sale. Some of the commonly included items in our Surplus Sale are: Shop Equipment, Facilities and Maintenance Equipment, Vehicles, Kitchen Equipment, Office Supplies, Computer Related Hardware, Musical Instruments, Educational Media, Miscellaneous District Property.
