Navigating the Screens
You navigate in the Parent Assistant by clicking on one of the Menus located in the Parent Assistant heading at the top of the page. After clicking a menu item click on one of the sub-menus that appears.
Listed below is a matrix of the sub-menus and the information that is displayed in the page that opens.

| General Info | |
| Demographics | Displays information on your child that the school has currently in the student information system. This includes Student Information, Address, Previous School, Medical Information, and Siblings. |
| Emergency Contacts | Displays a screen listing the emergency contacts on record for the student. |

Attendance |
Displays a screen listing the student’s attendance history for the year. |
| Academic Progress | |
| Assignments1 | Displays a screen listing the student’s assignments by course, due date, and grades for the year. |
| Credits Earned to Date | Displays all courses taken at the high or middle school level that count toward graduation including final grades and credits earned. |
| Current Progress | Provides a snapshot of attendance and reporting period grades. The screen includes a list of all courses for the entire year. |
| Diploma | Displays a screen displaying the current status for Diploma requirements. Credits already earned and still needed are identified. |
| Marks/Grades | Displays a screen displaying exam marks and/or final grades for each course the child is taking, as well as absences and lates for that course. |
| Messages | |
| Read Teacher Message | Displays a screen listing all messages sent to you by any of your child’s teacher(s). |
| School Messages | Displays a screen listing all messages sent to you by your child’s school. |
| Send Teacher Message | Open screens that allow you the opportunity to send a message to any of your child’s teachers. |
| Miscellaneous | |
| Non School Days | Displays a screen listing all days during the school year when your child’s school is closed. |
| Student Schedule | Displays a screen listing your child’s daily class schedule. |
1Currently not all schools or teachers use eSIS gradebook to post assignments. Please also allow time for teachers to evaluate student work and post it to Parent Assistant.
