Marita Ingalsbe - Application Services
Marita Ingalsbe is the Director of IT Application Services. Prior to joining Portland Public Schools Finance Department in 1997, she was Vice President, Mortgage Lending for Equitable Savings and Loan. In 1999 she moved to the Enterprise Systems “Odyssey” project, coordinated Y2K desktop remediation efforts and served as project manager for the eSIS project implementation. Marita spends her free time trying to keep up with her three college-going children, on volunteer activities, and hiking and travel.
The Application Services group delivers enterprise application systems in support of school and central office requirements. Our teams work in partnership with key stakeholders and clients to define, implement, and operate appropriate and sustainable enterprise software tools to meet PPS strategic objectives. We are organized into three areas:

- Student Information Systems, providing functional support and coordinating system enhancements for PPS student data systems, including the eSIS student information system, GlobalScholar Gradebook/Curriculum Planner, Certify data certification system, and SynreVoice attendance autodialer/Rapid Broadcast system.
