Jay Keuter - Client Services
Jay Keuter is the Interim Director of the Office of Information Technology for Portland Public Schools. In this role he oversees the operation of the District's centralized data center, the development and support of core information systems and applications, and the client and user service programs that support essential District operations.
Jay has over 20 years experience in education and 10 in the PPS Information Technology department. He has lead efforts to modernize telephony to VoIP, upgrade web content management technology, upgrade classroom instructional technology, and spearheaded efforts to pilot 1:1 computing in the District. He has lead school modernization envisioning efforts with the development of a Modern Learning Environments Symposium, as well as contributing to bond planning efforts. He holds a Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Education from Oregon State University, and an Oregon Administrative License as a result of coursework completed at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
