What is VoIP?
VoIP is telephone service provided over the same wire as your internet connection. Instead of your phone plugging into a phone jack, it plugs into an internet jack.
VoIP phones are an economic and feature-rich option for our schools and offices. VoiP phone service offers flexible options like Corporate Directories, Automated Attendant, and voicemail for every phone. VoIP phone service also provides the capability for a district wide PA system and allows Remote Programming of phones for much faster response times for repairs.

How do I get the name changed on my phone?
Any request for feature or name changes on phones must come from your Administrator, School Secretary or Principal. The easiest way to do this is to send an email to one of them with the request and have them forward it to Telecom Support at telecom@pps.net with their approval. Please be sure to include the extension number for the phone that needs to be changed.
What do I do if my phone is not working correctly?
If any thing is not working correctly with your phone please contact the IT service desk and our friendly support personnel will help you fix the trouble or if needed open a trouble ticket to get one of our Telecom staff to correct the trouble.
