Portland Public Schools uses PPSLive email (hosted email solution provided by Microsoft Live@edu). A PPSLive account will be created for you as part of your hiring process. You should receive an email to your personal email account once you attend your Essentials session or after you have signed final paperwork with HR.
The webmail client is very user friendly and meets the needs of the majority of our users. If you would rather use a desktop client, Microsoft Outlook can be installed on your work computer.
