Summer ACE 2011

Title VII Indian Education Summer ACE at Atkinson campus was an enriching program for students this summer.  In addition to the classes provided to enhance and strengthen academics and native cultural focus, our students participated in learning how to make jam from fresh berries, learned how to make salve from essential oils, participated in an OMSI field trip and an on-site OMSI Science Fair, heard stories of native legend, and ended our summer program with a field trip to the Oregon zoo.  Congratulations to our Summer ACE students in completing a successful summer 2011.
