Meet the Members
What does SACET do?
The committee is a critical sounding-board for Superintendent Carole Smith as she considers changes to the school choice system to improve equity, access, and educational achievement for students. While the committee will not be asked to decide the issues, its members will shape the superintendent’s actions and recommendations to the Portland School Board.
