A state funded organization that is a free resource for online teaching and learning designed to promote the use of technology in Oregon classrooms. ORVSD offers public school educators the opportunity to find and share online resources, learn and use cutting edge online tools, and discuss how to put them to use in the classroom. Teachers who get an account have access to courses from National Resources of Online Courses (NROC) including AP courses. There are also full courses and units created by teachers. These are free and open to Oregon educators.

Open Educational Resources  OER (Open Educational Resources) Commons provides a library and knowledge base for the search and discovery of open educational resources. Created with and for educators, students, and self-learners, OER Commons provides useful classroom materials that help students engage with rigorous subject matter. There are videos, primary source documents, full textbooks, courses, and lessons with resources that can supplement a class or provide content for an online class. As a network for teaching and learning materials, OER Commons offers engagement with resources in the form of social bookmarking, tagging, rating, reviewing, and online professional development to use the OERs. OER Commons houses more than 32,000 free and openly-licensed resources.

Teachers can create their own book for students. There are student editions and teacher editions. Most of the current content is secondary. It includes SAT Prep material.

TED Ed Within the growing TED-Ed video library, you will find carefully curated educational videos, many of which represent collaborations between talented educators and animators nominated through the TED-Ed platform. This platform also allows users to take any useful educational video, not just TED's, and easily create a customized lesson around the video. Users can distribute the lessons, publicly or privately, and track their impact on the world, a class, or an individual student.
