Instructional Framework
A research-based instructional framework should be used to have common vocabulary and common expectations about teaching and learning. Teachers may use strateiges and indicators to plan quality lessons. They may also use them to have colloaborative conversations about instruction with colleagues. Prinicipals may use them as a guide for observing instruction. Teachers may want to use tools based on these strategies to observe each others' instruction or to co-plan lessons.
The curriculum and instruction staff can provide assistance and resources for teachers, principals, or teams to use this framework or the tools associated with it.
