Supports educational and public affairs efforts via print, cable TV and web. Provides web, publications, video, audiovisual and autodialer message support to central offices and schools. 

What we do

  • District and School Websites: Oversees PPS home and news pages, provides usage guidelines and policies for PPS websites. 
  • Publications: Creates fliers, brochures and other materials for schools and departments. To request help, complete the Communications Services Request Form.
  • Web Support: Supports schools and central departments.  To request help, complete the Communications Services Request Form.  

Senior Manager for Multimedia and Publications: Katie Essick, 503-916-3053

  • Video: Creates videos for schools and departments. To request help, complete the Communications Services Request Form.
  • Channel 28: Television Services broadcasts school board meetings, instructional programming, graduations and more.
  • Audiovisual: Television Services coordinates the loan of AV equipment: microphones, amplification and interpretation for simultaneous translation. To reserve equipment, complete the Communications Services Request Form.
