Martin Gonzalez

Director González was appointed to the Board in 2008 and elected in May 2009. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Board. Professionally, Director Gonzalez is the Multicultural Program Manager at Tri-Met.
Director González received his B.S. in Education from Texas A & M University in Corpus Christi, Texas. He has more than 20 years of service work experience, and has acted in leadership roles throughout Portland’s Latino community. Director González is the president of the Latino Network, and former president of Centro Cultural. In addition, he serves on the boards of the Portland Schools Alliance and the Education Cabinet led by Mayor Adams and Multnomah County Commissioner Ted Wheeler.
Director González lives in North Portland with his family.
