  • Young, Gifted and Black 2013
    We invite you to share the stories and achievements of Black students currently thriving at PPS. 25 students will be honored Wednesday, April 17th from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at the Blanchard Educational Service Building.
  • Schools always need volunteers. Contact schools to help or browse opportunities online.
  • Clothing closets operating in partnership with Portland Public Schools:
  1. The PTA Clothing Closet: at Marshall High School, 3905 S.E. 91st Ave., Room C-56. Mondays and Thursdays, Families may select free clothing from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
  2. The Roosevelt/SouthLake Church Clothing Closet: Corner of N. Smith and N. Ida streets. Second Tuesday of each month, starting Sept. 11, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Clothing for infants through adults. Families may have up to two bags of free clothing.
